How to obtain a Learner Permit

Getting your Learner Permit is a two-step process. First you must undertake a test known as the "Theory Test". This is a 40 question test in which you must answer 35 questions correct to pass. Click here for all the required information www.theorytest.ie

After you have passed & obtained your Theory Test Cert you must then go to a NDLS Training Centre. There are currently 3 centres in the Dublin area (Leopardstown Shopping Centre, Citywest Shopping Centre & Omni Park Shopping Centre) in which your photo will be taken, you will pay the 35 euro fee and then your learner permit will be posted out to you 1-2 weeks later.
